I posted some pics of my OM that I finished last week, and here is its big brother that was built at the same time. It is a Sitka Spruce Dred with Indian Rosewood back and sides. The neck is Mahogany and the fingerboard and bridge are ebony. I bound it in maple with no purfling. I like the sound of this guy but not as much as the previous OM. Thanks for looking.

I am new to the whole picture thing so please excuse the reflections and bad focusing.

Blake, nice looking guitar.

What did you do for finishing, inquiring minds want to know.

And as Serge said,

I finished it with Target water based lacquer. I like it because I am spraying on my back porch and then hanging the guitar in my dining room (my wife loves it!!). It is a little soft but not bad and I can buff it out after about 3 days instead of waiting 2 weeks for nitro which hurts my lungs as well.

Thanks for looking. I appreciate all of the nice comments.

That looks fantastic Blake!

I love that binding, just adds that little extra zing...

Great looking finish too!

By the way, I really enjoyed your website, man... That axe has a killer burst on your homepage and I really dug your build philosophy. Kaizen, indeed...
